Studio Henderson has been appointed to deliver the FF&E package for a new later living development in the former Chorlton Baths in Chorlton Cum Hardy. Designed in line with HAPPI principles, the scheme will comprise two adjoining residential blocks connected by a central lift, with generous space, flexibility, and resident wellbeing at its core. The development will include a residents’ lounge and a dedicated community space for local groups to hire for meetings, workshops, and events, helping to bring residents and the wider neighbourhood together. The design has also engaged local artists to contribute to the scheme as part of its wider social value commitment. Working alongside Manchester City Council, Caddick Construction, Buttress Architects, and Simon Fenton Partnerships, the development is scheduled for completion in 2026.
